Region X School Nurse of the Year award for 2005-2006. A special day celebrated with my children.
School nurses are pro-active, educators, creative, spiritual, counselors, advocates for children, activists, hard-working, and important for the health and safety of the community. What they need is support from other nurses, administrators, staff, and governmental agencies in their efforts.
Involved in various church activities including mission work in Honduras, prayer shawl ministry, altar guild.
